Welcome to CU IN SPAIN

My name is Carina Ulander and I am the main author of this page, I moved to Spain Costa del Sol, together with my husband, Thomas Jacobsson, in 2019.

This is our page and we aim to give you interesting information about Spain, Costa del Sol in particular, and things to do here.

We are a middle age couple with roots in Gothenburg and the northern part of Sweden. We are residents in Spain, La Cala de Mijas on the Costa del Sol and we have a summer house in Sweden.

Thomas and I have worked almost all our adult life as airline crew with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines). Thomas as captain and I as purser.

In our youthhood we did different things, among them working on a cargo ship and as a ski guide in the Alps.

I have also been in the Real Estate business for many years. I have about 10 years’ experience as an agent on Costa del Sol.
